Hiomalaikka Metabo 624053000

The Metabo 624053000 sanding disc is a brown, 8 cm diameter abrasive disc supplied in a pack of 25 pieces. Designed for grinding and sanding a range of materials, the disc is suitable for work on polyester, stainless steel, steel and wood. Its size and abrasive surface make it appropriate for both detail work and broader surface preparation, offering a balance of material removal and surface finish for professional and DIY tasks.

Advantages

This sanding disc provides consistent abrasive performance across a variety of substrates without the need for frequent changes. The 8 cm diameter gives access to confined areas while still covering enough surface for efficient sanding. Supplied in a pack of 25, the discs reduce downtime by providing multiple replacements. The brown abrasive is formulated to work effectively on both metals and wood, allowing one disc type to be used across different stages of a project.

Suitable for

• Sanding and finishing small to medium surfaces on wood
• Removing rust, paint and oxidation on stainless steel and steel
• Surface preparation before painting or coating
• Detail grinding and shaping on polyester and composite materials

Key specifications

• Diameter: 8 cm
• Color: brown
• Quantity per pack: 25 pieces
• Compatible materials: polyester, stainless steel, steel, wood
• Intended use: grinding and sanding

How to use

Attach the sanding disc to a compatible sanding or grinding tool according to the tool manufacturer's instructions, ensuring correct alignment and secure fastening. Start with moderate pressure and a steady motion, increasing pressure if additional material removal is needed. For metal work, use even strokes along the grain or intended direction of removal; for wood, follow the wood grain to achieve a smoother finish. Replace the disc when abrasive performance diminishes or when clogging occurs to maintain consistent results.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and a dust mask when sanding. For extended work on metals, consider using lubrication or coolant as recommended for the workpiece and tool. Store the discs in a dry environment away from direct sunlight to preserve abrasive properties and prevent contamination.
