InfiniBand-kuitu-kaapeli GRAFENTHAL GTOM4MPOUMPOU00100 1 m MPO OFC violetti

The Grafenthal GTOM4MPOUMPOU00100 is a 1 m InfiniBand fibre optic cable built with OM4 OFC fiber and MPO connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers and network environments, the cable has a violet LSZH jacket for easy identification and reduced smoke and halogen emissions in confined spaces.

Advantages

This cable combines OM4 multimode performance with MPO-to-MPO connectivity to support high-bandwidth, short- to medium-reach links. The OFC construction ensures reliable optical transmission, while the UPC-polished MPO connectors provide consistent end-face quality. The LSZH jacket minimizes toxic and corrosive gas release in case of fire and the violet colour helps with cable management and identification.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand high-speed links in data centers
• Top-of-rack and server-to-switch connections
• Patch panels and MPO trunking systems

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM4 (OFC)
• Length: 1 m
• Connector A: MPO female (UPC)
• Connector B: MPO female (UPC)
• Jacket material: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH)
• Colour: Violet

How to use

Connect each MPO end to compatible MPO ports on switches, patch panels or InfiniBand adapters, ensuring correct alignment of the MPO key. Handle the MPO connectors carefully to avoid contamination of the end faces; clean connector end faces before mating if necessary. Route the cable through cable management paths that respect bend radius recommendations for multimode OM4 fibre.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m OM4 MPO-to-MPO cable for short interconnects where high bandwidth is required. Inspect and, if needed, clean MPO connector end faces before installation, and avoid tight bends to preserve optical performance.
