InLine kuitu-duplexkaapeli SC/SC 83503O 3 m OM3 50/125 µm

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 50/125µm OM3 3m is a multimode duplex patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling systems. With SC connectors on both ends and a 50/125 µm core/cladding structure, this OM3-rated cable supports high bandwidth applications and reduced modal dispersion for reliable signal integrity. The 3 m length provides flexible routing between network equipment, switches and transceivers in data centers, server rooms and office networks.

Advantages

This duplex SC/SC OM3 cable offers low insertion loss and consistent performance across multimode links, enabling stable connections for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other multimode optical networks. The standardized 50/125 µm geometry and OM3 grading improve bandwidth-distance characteristics compared with lower OM classes, while the robust connector housings ensure secure mating and easy installation. The cable is suitable for short to medium reach applications and maintains low attenuation to minimize signal degradation.

Suitable for

• Connecting transceivers, switches and patch panels in data centers
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet multimode links within server rooms
• Office network backbone and horizontal cabling for high-density racks
• Fiber optic patch panels and equipment interconnects

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• OM rating: OM3 (laser-optimized multimode)
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex
• Length: 3 m
• Polish: Typically UPC/APC dependent on connector (standard multimode UPC)
• Jacket: Standard flexible jacket for indoor patching

How to use

Route the duplex SC/SC OM3 cable between the two devices ensuring strain relief and avoiding sharp bends below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Clean SC connector endfaces before insertion to prevent contamination-related loss. Insert each SC connector into the respective adapter or transceiver port until it clicks into place, observing correct polarity for transmit/receive pairs if required. After installation, verify the link with appropriate diagnostics or network tests to confirm insertion loss and optical continuity.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 duplex cable for indoor patching and short to medium multimode runs; keep connectors capped when not in use and avoid exceeding bend radius or applying excessive tensile load to preserve optical performance.
