Kaapeli DisplayPort HDMI Kramer Electronics C-DPM/HM-10 3 m

The Kramer C-DPM/HM cable connects a DisplayPort source directly to an HDMI monitor or display using a male DisplayPort connector on one end and a male HDMI connector on the other. The male-to-male configuration removes the need for an extra adapter cable and reduces potential failure points, making it suitable for linking a modern laptop or desktop with an HDMI-enabled screen. The cable requires a dual-mode DisplayPort (DP++) device that can output HDMI signals over the DisplayPort interface.

Advantages

The direct male-to-male connection simplifies installation by eliminating additional adapters and cable joints. Fewer connection points reduce the risk of signal loss or mechanical failure. The cable supports standard audio and video transmission from DP++ sources to HDMI displays, providing a straightforward single-cable solution for common AV setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop with a dual-mode DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Linking a desktop PC with DP++ to an HDMI-enabled projector
• Single-cable audio/video connections in meeting rooms and classrooms

Key specifications

• Brand: Kramer
• Model: C-DPM/HM
• Configuration: DisplayPort (male) to HDMI (male)
• Length: 3 m
• MPN: 97-0601010
• EAN: 7291063043988

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort (male) end to a DP++ output on your source device and the HDMI (male) end to the HDMI input on the display. Ensure the source device supports dual-mode DisplayPort (DP++). After connecting, set the display input to the correct HDMI port. The source should automatically detect and negotiate the appropriate video and audio signals.

Recommendations

Use this cable only with devices that explicitly support dual-mode DisplayPort (DP++). If the source device does not support DP++, a passive cable like this will not provide an HDMI signal and an active converter will be required.
