Kuitujakaja Extralink 1:2 FBT SC/UPC 45:55, 900 µm, 1 m, PVC

Passive fiber optic splitter Extralink FBT 1:2 with SC/UPC connectors and an asymmetric split ratio of 45:55. Designed for 900 µm fiber and supplied as a 1 m cable assembly in a PVC jacket (blue/white). The splitter is intended for splitting one optical input into two outputs in FTTH and short-range distribution systems and is housed in a compact steel tube for easy installation.

Advantages

The FBT technology provides stable passive optical power division without external power. The asymmetrical 45:55 split ratio allows tailoring of signal levels between two outputs. A thin 0.9 mm pigtail cable makes the unit compatible with various fiber organizers, while the steel tube housing increases mechanical protection. Supplied in blister packaging to prevent cable tangling during storage and installation.

Suitable for

• FTTH networks for splitting signal to two endpoints
• Short-range optical distribution and indoor fiber routing
• Installations requiring compact passive splitters in fiber organizers or distribution panels

Key specifications

• Split ratio: 45:55 (asymmetrical)
• Configuration: 1 input : 2 outputs
• Fiber type: 900 µm (0.9 mm) pigtail
• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector type: SC/UPC
• Housing: compact steel tube
• Jacket material: PVC
• Colors: blue and white

How to use

Connect the SC/UPC input connector to the incoming optical line from the server or distribution frame and connect the two SC/UPC output connectors to the downstream fibers leading to customer devices or distribution points. Secure the thin 0.9 mm pigtail in a fiber organizer or splice tray to prevent bending or strain, and mount the steel tube housing inside the distribution panel or switch cabinet as required.

Recommendations

Handle the 900 µm pigtail carefully to avoid tight bends and excessive tension. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to minimize insertion loss. Install the splitter inside an appropriate fiber organizer or enclosure to protect against physical damage and environmental contamination.
