Kuitukaapeli EFB Elektronik O7413.20 20 m SC turkoosi

The EFB Elektronik O7413.20 20 m SC Turquoise is an OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed network interconnections. With a 50 µm core diameter and SC connectors on both ends, this 20-metre cable supports full duplex data transmission and is suitable for structured cabling in data center and enterprise environments. The turquoise jacket follows common fibre colour coding for OM3, making it easy to identify in installations and cable management systems.

Advantages

This OM3 cable provides stable high-bandwidth transmission over moderate distances and is compatible with multimode transceivers and equipment using SC terminations. The 50 µm core supports typical data centre speeds and the full duplex configuration enables simultaneous bi-directional communication. The durable outer jacket protects the fibre from routine handling and bending stresses, while the standardized SC connectors ensure repeatable low-loss connections.

Suitable for

• Rack-to-rack connections in data centers
• Patch panels and horizontal cabling in enterprise networks
• Interconnecting multimode transceivers and switches
• Short- to medium-distance backbone links

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 20 metres
• Connector type: SC on both ends
• Transmission mode: full duplex
• Jacket colour: turquoise (OM3 colour coding)

How to use

Install the cable by aligning each SC connector with the corresponding SC adapter or port and gently push until it clicks into place to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable along cable trays or within patch panels, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre to prevent increased attenuation. For removal, depress the SC latch and pull straight out to avoid damage to the connector ferrule.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 20 m SC cable for indoor applications and within controlled environments such as data centres and wiring closets. Keep connectors clean and protected with dust caps when not in use, and verify cleanliness with appropriate inspection tools before mating. Avoid outdoor exposure, direct sunlight, or areas with excessive moisture unless additional protective sleeving is applied.
