Kuitukaapeli ROLINE 21158616 15 m 2x LC OM4 violetti

The ROLINE 21158616 is a 15 m full-duplex fibre optic cable with dual LC connectors on both ends and OM4 multimode specification. Designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks, the violet-coloured jacket denotes its OM4 rating which enables higher bandwidth and increased reach compared to standard multimode cables.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable provides improved bandwidth and lower attenuation over multimode links, supporting higher data rates and longer link distances. The dual LC connectors offer compact, reliable terminations suitable for modern networking equipment. The 15 m length gives flexibility for patching between racks, switches and active equipment while maintaining full-duplex communication.

Suitable for

• High-speed data centre patching and interconnects
• Enterprise LAN backbone links
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections
• Telecommunication closets and equipment cabinets

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: ROLINE
• Model / MPN: 21.15.8616
• EAN: 7630049621701
• Length: 15 m
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Connectors: 2x LC to 2x LC (duplex)
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Operation: Full duplex

How to use

Connect each LC connector pair into corresponding LC ports on switches, transceivers or patch panels, ensuring correct alignment and secure latching of the connectors. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension — follow the minimum bend radius specified by your equipment or fibre standards. Test the link after installation with appropriate fibre testers or transceiver diagnostics to verify signal quality and performance.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM4 cable by the jacket, keep connector endfaces covered when not in use, and clean endfaces before mating to prevent signal loss. Use this cable for multimode OM4-compatible equipment and applications requiring higher bandwidth and extended reach compared with OM3 or OM2 fibres.
