Kuitukaapeli ROLINE OM3 50/125 µm LC/LC 15 m

The ROLINE Fibre Optic Jumper Cable OM3 50/125µm LC/LC 15m is a duplex multimode patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission. With LC connectors on both ends and OM3-rated 50/125µm fibres, this 15-meter turquoise cable provides low insertion loss and reduced reflections thanks to quality connectors, precise fibre assembly and compact conductor design. The cable construction includes Kevlar for tension relief and a PVC outer jacket with a diameter of approximately 2.8 x 6 mm.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode jumper offers stable optical performance with low insertion loss and good return loss due to high-quality connectors and optimal assembly procedures. The compact conductor allows for flexible routing while the Kevlar reinforcement improves tensile strength. The 15 m length and LC/LC terminations make the cable suitable for direct device-to-device and patch panel connections in structured cabling.

Suitable for

• Connecting network equipment in data centers
• Patch panel to switch or transceiver links
• High-speed multimode links (10G and short-reach applications)
• Office and telecom installations requiring OM3 performance

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces and ensure connectors and ports are free from dust before installation. Route the cable without tight bends and avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius to prevent increased attenuation. Plug the LC connectors into compatible LC ports on transceivers, switches or patch panels until they click into place. Secure the cable with appropriate cable management to prevent stress on connectors and the Kevlar reinforcement.

Recommendations

For best optical performance, clean connector endfaces with a suitable fibre cleaning tool before each connection and avoid repeated mating cycles. Use OM3-rated transceivers and infrastructure for guaranteed short-range, high-speed multimode links.
