Kuitukaapelijakokaappi Extralink Edith 16 johdinta harmaa ABS

Extralink EDITH 16 core fiber optic box is a compact enclosure for managing and distributing optical fibers in PON (Passive Optical Network) systems. Constructed from durable grey ABS, the unit protects splices, splitters and other passive components while allowing organized separation of the main fiber line into individual client cables.

Advantages

The Extralink EDITH 16 core box offers a robust ABS housing that resists environmental effects and mechanical stress. Its internal layout supports secure placement of welds, a splitter and mounting accessories, keeping connections protected and the optical network accessible for maintenance. The compact footprint simplifies installation in indoor or sheltered outdoor locations.

Suitable for

• FTTx and PON distribution points
• Indoor or sheltered outdoor network cabinets and walls
• Organizing and protecting fiber splices and splitters for up to 16 cores

Key specifications

• Model: Extralink EDITH 16 core
• Capacity: up to 16 fiber cores
• Material: grey ABS
• Application: fiber optic distribution for PON networks

How to use

Mount the box on a wall or inside a cabinet using appropriate fasteners. Route the incoming main fiber into the enclosure, secure and protect the cable entry, and place splices, splitter and accessories on the internal holders. Organize individual client fibers through the output ports, maintain bend radii and secure all terminations to prevent strain on the fibers. Close the housing to maintain protection.

Recommendations

Install and perform splicing in a clean, dry environment and follow standard fiber handling practices. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; use compatible splitters and accessories sized for a 16-core layout. For outdoor exposed installations, provide additional environmental protection beyond the ABS enclosure as required.
