Kuituoptinen kaapeli ROLINE 21.15.9490 0,5 m E-2000 (LSH)

The ROLINE 21.15.9490 0.5 m E-2000 (LSH) is an OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cable with E-2000 (LSH) connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for short-range, high-bandwidth links, this half-metre cable supports full duplex transmission and is suitable for data centre interconnects and high-performance computing environments such as InfiniBand installations. The OM4 multimode construction provides low attenuation and consistent modal bandwidth for reliable signal integrity over short to medium distances.

Advantages

The compact 0.5 m length reduces excess cable slack and simplifies cable management in dense rack environments. E-2000 (LSH) connectors offer precise alignment and a spring-loaded protective cap for dust protection and safe handling. OM4 grade fibre increases bandwidth capacity compared with lower multimode grades, helping maintain higher data rates with reduced dispersion. The full duplex configuration enables simultaneous bidirectional data flow for high-performance links.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack-to-rack connections
• InfiniBand networks and high-performance computing clusters
• Short-reach optical links in SAN and server environments
• Telecommunication equipment requiring E-2000 (LSH) connectors

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: E-2000 (LSH) to E-2000 (LSH)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Transmission: Full duplex
• Typical use: Short-range, high-bandwidth links

How to use

Unpack the cable and remove protective caps from the E-2000 (LSH) connectors only when ready to connect. Insert each connector into the appropriate adapter or port until it engages; the connector design ensures correct alignment without rotation. For full duplex operation, connect each end to the corresponding transmit and receive ports on the devices. Avoid bending the cable beyond recommended bend radius and keep connectors capped when not in use to prevent contamination.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 E-2000 (LSH) cable in organised patch panels and short interconnects where minimal insertion loss and precise connector alignment are required. Maintain clean connector endfaces using appropriate fibre cleaning tools and follow equipment manufacturer recommendations for optical power levels and bend radius to ensure optimal performance.
