Kuituverkkokaapeli EFB Elektronik SC - SC 50/125 µm 10 m — monimuoto

Fibre optic cable EFB Elektronik SC to SC 50/125µm 10 m — multimode is a duplex multimode patch cable with SC connectors at both ends and a core/cladding diameter of 50/125 µm. Intended for short-reach optical links, the cable supports InfiniBand and other multimode applications, enabling reliable data transmission between network devices, transceivers and patch panels over a 10 m cable length.

Advantages

The cable offers low insertion loss and consistent multimode performance over short distances, with standardized SC connectors that ensure straightforward mating and a stable physical connection. Its 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry is suitable for higher-bandwidth multimode systems, and the 10 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack and device-to-patch-panel routing in data centre environments.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand links and short-reach multimode networks
• Data centre patching between racks and servers
• Connections between network switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Laboratory and testing setups that require standardized SC multimode cabling

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC to SC, duplex
• Fibre type: Multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Length: 10 m
• Typical applications: Short-reach data transmission, InfiniBand and multimode optical links

How to use

Inspect both SC connectors and the cable jacket for visible damage before installation. Align the SC connectors with the adapter or transceiver receptacle and push until the connector clicks into place; ensure duplex orientation matches Tx/Rx pairing. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension; maintain the minimum bend radius specified for 50/125 µm multimode fibre. For removal, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or adapter.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable in a clean environment to prevent contamination of connector endfaces. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating. Avoid sharp bends, kinks and crushing; use cable management accessories such as trays, ties and bend-radius protectors to secure and protect the fibre run.
