LED-ajuri MEAN WELL HLG-600H-12AB, 600W, 12V, 40A, IP65

MEAN WELL HLG-600H-12AB is a 600 W constant-voltage LED driver that provides 12 V DC at up to 40 A from a universal AC input. Designed for demanding installations, this IP65-rated unit combines high power density and reliable protection against dust and water, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor commercial lighting, horticultural setups and large LED arrays. The driver supports both constant-voltage operation and features active power factor correction for stable mains performance.

Advantages

The driver delivers a stable 12 V output with up to 40 A continuous current and built-in PFC to reduce mains distortion. Its IP65 housing ensures protection against dust ingress and splash to allow installation in sheltered outdoor or damp indoor locations. Dimming options include 0–10 V control, PWM and resistive dimming, and integrated potentiometers permit fine adjustment of input and output parameters without additional tools. The compact rectangular housing provides efficient thermal management and simplifies mounting in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• High-power LED strips and fixtures in commercial and architectural lighting
• Horticultural lighting systems and grow tents requiring reliable constant-voltage supply
• LED signage and large display panels with centralized 12 V distribution
• Outdoor and indoor installations where IP65 protection is required

Key specifications

• Output voltage: 12 V DC
• Maximum output current: 40 A
• Rated output power: 600 W
• Input: universal AC mains with active power factor correction
• Dimming methods: 0–10 V, PWM, resistive dimming
• Adjustable input and output via built-in potentiometers
• Ingress protection rating: IP65 (dust and water resistant)
• Housing dimensions: 144 × 280 × 48.5 mm

How to use

Mount the driver on a flat surface with adequate ventilation and secure it using appropriate fasteners. Connect the AC mains conductors according to local electrical codes and ensure correct grounding. Connect the 12 V DC output to the LED load, observing correct polarity. Use the built-in potentiometers to fine-tune output voltage or input parameters if required. Select the preferred dimming interface (0–10 V, PWM or resistive) and wire the control signal following the driver’s wiring diagram. Verify connections and perform an initial power-up with a reduced load if possible to confirm stable operation.

Recommendations

Install the driver in a location protected from direct water jets and with sufficient airflow to maintain operating temperature. For long cable runs, account for voltage drop and use appropriately sized conductors. Match the LED load to the 12 V constant-voltage output and avoid exceeding the 40 A maximum current. Use qualified personnel for mains wiring and follow applicable safety standards.
