MPO-MPO monimuotokuitu OM4 patch-kaapeli BlueOptics CB-M12-M12-MMF7M 7,5 metriä

The BlueOptics CB-M12-M12-MMF7M 7.5 Meter is an MPO-MPO multimode OM4 patch cable designed for high-density networking environments. It provides a factory-terminated ribbon-style connection that supports high-speed parallel optics links in data centers and enterprise networks. The cable's OM4 multimode fiber optimizes bandwidth and reduces modal dispersion for improved transmission over short to medium distances, while the MPO-MPO connectors enable compact, multi-fiber connectivity between switches, routers, patch panels and server equipment.

Advantages

This MPO-MPO OM4 cable offers consistent multimode performance with low insertion loss and return loss characteristics suitable for 40G/100G parallel links where OM4 fiber is specified. The 7.5 meter length balances reach and cable-management flexibility in rack-to-rack and cabinet-to-cabinet installations. BlueOptics factory-terminated connectors ensure standardized polishing and alignment to maintain signal integrity and reduce installation time compared with field-terminated solutions.

How to use

Route the MPO-MPO OM4 patch cable between the designated MPO ports on compatible transceivers, patch panels or equipment modules. Ensure both MPO connectors are clean and free of dust before mating; use appropriate fiber cleaning tools if required. Align the keyed MPO connectors and insert until the connector latch engages. Avoid excessive bending near the connector and observe the minimum bend radius specified for multimode fiber during installation to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean MPO connector endfaces before each connection, secure cable routing to avoid strain and sharp bends, and use labeled patch panels or cable management to maintain traceability in dense installations. Verify link performance after installation with appropriate fiber test equipment when deploying for 40G/100G parallel links.
