Optotec IP68 Outdoor Dome -jatkosmuhvi, kompakti muotoilu, max. 288 kuitua FTTx (FOCUS-CODC2-AB)

The Optotec FOCUS-CODC2-AB stands apart from typical splice closures with its compact dome form factor that still accommodates up to 288 fibers, making it a space-efficient solution for high-density FTTx networks. Its IP68-rated mechanical sealing ensures reliable protection in harsh outdoor environments, whether mounted aerially, in ducts, directly buried, or on walls and poles.

Highlights

• IP68 ingress protection for outdoor use
• Maximum capacity of 288 fibers
• Supports up to 12 splice trays (24 fibers each)
• Mechanical sealing for re-entry and maintenance
• High-strength engineering plastic construction with UV and corrosion resistance

In daily use

Designed for FTTx deployments, this closure simplifies fiber management with its oval and round cable entry ports, accommodating a wide range of cable diameters. The dome design provides ample space for splice trays while maintaining a compact footprint, and the mechanical seal allows quick access without special tools. It operates reliably in temperatures from -40°C to +65°C and withstands humidity up to 95% non-condensing.
