PoE-jatko Lanview LVN-100MB-POE30W-EXTENDER — 100 Mbit/s, 30 W

Lanview LVN-100MB-POE30W-EXTENDER — 100 Mbps, 30W is a PoE extender that increases the reach of Ethernet and Power over Ethernet connections. It supports data transfer up to 100 Mbps while delivering up to 30 watts of power to a remote PoE device, enabling placement of IP cameras, wireless access points and other PoE-powered equipment beyond standard cable distance limits. The device is intended for simple, reliable extension of both network connectivity and power where additional active devices or rewiring are impractical.

Advantages

The extender provides stable 100 Mbps Ethernet throughput and delivers up to 30 W of power to connected devices, allowing uninterrupted operation of cameras and access points. Its plug-and-play design requires no user configuration, which reduces deployment time. The compact enclosure and standard RJ45 connectors make it compatible with existing structured cabling and minimize installation footprint.

Suitable for

• Extending PoE to IP surveillance cameras located beyond 100 m of existing cabling
• Powering and connecting wireless access points in larger indoor or outdoor areas
• Supplying PoE to VoIP phones, door controllers, and other networked devices where additional reach is needed
• Temporary or permanent network extensions in retail, office, and industrial sites

Key specifications

• Data rate: up to 100 Mbps (Fast Ethernet)
• Maximum power output: up to 30 W to the downstream device
• Connection type: RJ45 PoE input and output ports
• Operation: plug-and-play, no configuration required
• Form factor: compact inline extender for cable runs

How to use

Connect the upstream PoE source or PoE switch to the extender’s input RJ45 port and then connect the downstream PoE device (such as an IP camera or access point) to the extender’s output RJ45 port. Ensure cable pairs and terminations are intact and that the upstream source can provide sufficient power. After connections are made, the extender passes power and data through to the remote device without additional setup. Multiple extenders can be used in series where supported by power budget and network design to further extend reach.

Recommendations

Place the extender in a dry, ventilated location and use quality Ethernet cabling (Cat5e or higher) for reliable 100 Mbps performance. Verify the total power budget when chaining extenders or powering multiple devices and ensure the upstream PoE source meets the required power class. Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures or moisture to maintain long-term reliability.
