Puukkosaha Metabo SSEP 18 LT 18 V — langaton 18 V:n käsikäyttöinen saha

The Metabo SSEP 18 LT is a cordless 18 V reciprocating (sabre) saw engineered for renovation, demolition and construction tasks where portability and handheld control are required. Compact and lightweight, the tool operates from Metabo’s 18 V battery platform and accepts a wide range of reciprocating blades to cut wood, metal and plastic. Its design emphasizes ease of handling in confined spaces and on scaffolding, offering adjustable speed and stroke action suitable for cross-cuts, pruning, metal pipe work and controlled demolition work.

Advantages

The cordless design eliminates the need for a power cord, improving mobility on job sites and around the home. Variable speed control and an efficient motor provide consistent cutting performance with different blade types. The compact, ergonomic body reduces user fatigue during extended use, and key features such as tool-free blade change and a robust shoe enable quick adjustments and reliable blade guidance. Built to meet professional expectations, the saw balances cutting power with handheld convenience.

Suitable for

• Cutting timber framing, floorboards and drywall studs
• Pruning small branches and landscaping wood work
• Demolition of non-structural elements and window frames
• Cutting metal pipes, profiles and conduit with appropriate metal blades
• On-site repairs and installations where cord-free operation is required

Key specifications

• Power supply: 18 V battery platform (cordless)
• Tool type: reciprocating (sabre) saw designed for handheld use
• Blade system: accepts standard reciprocating blades with tool-free change
• Control: variable speed for adapting cut speed to material and blade
• Build: compact and lightweight design optimized for one-handed operation
• Shoe: adjustable shoe for depth control and guided cutting

How to use

Fit a blade suitable for the material to be cut and secure it using the tool-free blade clamp. Install a charged 18 V battery according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Select the appropriate speed setting and position the saw with the shoe resting on the workpiece for guidance. Begin cutting with steady pressure, allowing the blade to do the work while maintaining control; avoid forcing the saw through dense materials. For precision cuts, reduce speed and use a suitable blade; for faster demolition cuts, increase speed and choose a coarse-tooth blade.

Recommendations

Use blades specified for wood, metal or plastic to achieve clean cuts and extend blade life. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment—safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection—when operating the saw. For extended work, use batteries with sufficient charge and follow recommended charging cycles. Inspect blades regularly for wear and replace damaged blades immediately. Store the tool and batteries in dry conditions and follow all safety instructions provided by the manufacturer.
