Sähkökotelo Rittal AX 1057.000, ruostumaton teräs, IP66, 500×250×700 mm

Rittal AX 1057.000 is a stainless steel electrical enclosure with external dimensions 500×250×700 mm and an IP66 rating. Designed to house electrical and electronic components, the enclosure provides dust-tight protection and strong resistance to water ingress for both indoor and outdoor installations. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction and compact form factor support use in control panels, junction boxes and instrumentation assemblies where reliable protection and long service life are required.

Advantages

The stainless steel body ensures durability and corrosion resistance in demanding environments. IP66 ingress protection prevents dust and powerful jets of water from affecting internal components. The compact footprint balances mounting flexibility with usable interior space for wiring, terminal blocks and small control devices. The enclosure is compatible with standard mounting and interior installation practices, supporting straightforward assembly and maintenance.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a suitable flat surface or support structure using the designated mounting points. Before installation, verify that the enclosure orientation and space allow access for wiring and component maintenance. Fit required internal mounting plates, DIN rails or panel brackets, and secure electrical components according to applicable electrical standards. Ensure all cable entries are sealed with appropriate glands or cover plates to maintain IP66 protection. Close and fasten the door or cover to the specified torque values to preserve the enclosure's ingress protection rating.

Recommendations

For long-term performance, regularly inspect external seals and fasteners for damage or loosening, and replace any worn gaskets. Use appropriate stainless steel-compatible fasteners and avoid contact with dissimilar metals that can cause galvanic corrosion. When installing outdoors, position the enclosure to minimize direct impact from runoff and high-pressure cleaning where possible.
