SHIVERPEAKS S/CONN maximum connectivity OM5 LC/LC duplex kuitu-verkkokaapeli, limetinvihreä, 20 m 07-500915

For high-density fiber infrastructure where wideband multimode performance matters, this SHIVERPEAKS S/CONN maximum connectivity patch cable delivers OM5-grade transmission across a full 20-meter span. The lime green jacket is not just for visibility—it signals compliance with the latest multimode fiber standards, enabling short-wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) and future-ready bandwidth up to 100 Gbps. Unlike standard OM3/OM4 assemblies, this duplex LC/LC cable is optimized for wavelengths beyond 850 nm, including 953 nm, giving you headroom for next-generation transceivers without recabling.

Highlights

• OM5 wideband multimode fiber (50/125 µm) supports SWDM and up to 100 Gbps Ethernet.
• Precision LC duplex connectors on both ends ensure low insertion loss and reliable mating.
• Lime green jacket provides instant identification of OM5 in patching fields and data centers.
• 20-meter length suits cross-connects between racks, SAN switches, and distribution areas.
• Zipcord construction simplifies polarity management and reduces tangling during installation.
• Compliant with TIA/EIA-568-C.3, ISO/IEC 11801, and EN 50173-1 structured cabling standards.

In daily use

In enterprise data centers and high-speed storage networks, this cable bridges the gap between current 40/100G SR4 optics and tomorrow’s SWDM4 links. The straight-through A-B polarity matches standard transceiver pinouts, so you can deploy it immediately without flipping fibers. The lime green jacket stands out against OM3 aqua and OS2 yellow cables, reducing the risk of mixing fiber types during moves, adds, and changes. Because OM5 is backward-compatible with OM3 and OM4, you can phase it into existing multimode infrastructure while preparing for higher speeds.
