USB-kaapeli ShiverPeaks Basic-S USB 3.2 Gen 2 1 m USB C harmaa

The ShiverPeaks Basic-S USB cable is a 1 m grey USB C to USB C cable designed for high-speed data transfer and reliable connectivity. It implements the USB 3.2 Gen 2 (also referenced as USB 3.1 Gen 2) standard to deliver data throughput up to 10 Gbit/s and uses gold-plated contacts to maintain stable signal transfer and resist corrosion. The slim, flexible jacket and compact USB C connectors make the cable suitable for everyday use with modern laptops, smartphones, tablets and peripherals that support USB-C interfaces.

Advantages

This USB cable supports high transfer rates up to 10 Gbit/s while retaining backward compatibility with earlier USB standards. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time. The 1 m length provides a balance between reach and portability, and the reversible USB C connectors simplify plugging in without orientation concerns. The cable’s neutral grey finish fits with most setups and devices.

Suitable for

• Transferring large files between USB-C equipped computers and external storage
• Connecting USB-C peripherals such as docks, monitors with USB-C input and external drives
• Syncing data between smartphones or tablets and computers with USB-C ports
• Everyday cable replacement for devices that require USB-C to USB-C connection

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB Type-C to USB Type-C
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (equivalent to USB 3.1 Gen 2)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 1 m
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance
• Colour: grey

How to use

Insert one USB C connector into the host device and the other into the target device ensuring both ports support the required USB-C connection. The reversible connector design allows insertion without regard to orientation. For maximum data transfer speed, use the cable with devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2. When connecting to devices with lower USB versions the cable will operate at the reduced device-supported speed.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments free of sharp bends and avoid excessive tension to prolong its service life. For optimal performance, ensure device ports are clean and compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2. Store the cable coiled loosely and avoid heavy compression or prolonged exposure to liquids.
