The Lindy 4 Port USB 2.0 Hub expands a computer's USB Type A connectivity by providing four additional USB 2.0 ports. It supports data transfer speeds up to 480 Mbps and is backward compatible with USB 1.1 and 1.0. The hub is bus-powered with an optional DC jack for an external power supply when connecting multiple high-power devices, and uses plug-and-play installation without requiring drivers.

Advantages

The hub adds four USB Type A ports to a compatible computer, offering high-speed USB 2.0 transfers and compatibility with older USB standards. Bus power simplifies use without extra equipment, while the DC jack allows optional external power for power-hungry peripherals. Plug-and-play operation removes the need for driver installation, enabling quick setup for both experienced and first-time users.

Key specifications

• Model: Lindy 4 Port USB 2.0 Hub
• Interface: USB Type A (connects to computer)
• Number of ports: 4 × USB 2.0
• Maximum data transfer rate: 480 Mbps (USB 2.0)
• Backward compatibility: USB 1.1 and USB 1.0
• Power: Bus-powered with DC jack for optional external power
• Installation: Plug and Play, no drivers required

How to use

Connect the hub to a computer's USB Type A port, then plug peripherals into the hub's four USB ports. If connected devices require more power than the host USB port can provide, connect a compatible external power supply to the hub's DC jack. The hub should be recognized automatically by the operating system without installing drivers.

Recommendations

For stable operation with multiple high-power devices (external drives, charging devices), use a suitable external power adapter. Ensure the host USB Type A port and connected devices support USB 2.0 to achieve maximum transfer speeds.
