CEE 7/16 C7 liitin Goobay 97356 3 m

The WENTRONIC Goobay 97356 CEE 7/16 / IEC 60320 C7 coupler is a 3 m mains lead designed for uncomplicated and secure power connections between European CEE 7/16 wall outlets and devices with an IEC 60320 C7 inlet. The cable supports an input voltage of 250 V and a rated current of 2.5 A, providing a standard solution for powering small household electronics and portable equipment. The flexible 3 m length gives additional reach while maintaining a compact, easy-to-route design.

Advantages

The cable combines a slim CEE 7/16 (Europlug) connector with a two-pole IEC C7 coupler, enabling compatibility with a wide range of audio/video equipment, chargers and small appliances. Its 3 m length reduces the need for extension cords while allowing flexible placement of connected devices. Construction and insulation are tailored to meet typical safety and durability expectations for mains leads used with low-current consumer electronics.

Suitable for

• Portable audio equipment such as radios and small amplifiers
• Set-top boxes, DVD/Blu-ray players and media players
• Battery chargers and power adapters with C7 inlets
• Small household electronics like electric shavers and toothbrush chargers

Key specifications

• Connector type (mains): CEE 7/16 (Europlug)
• Connector type (device): IEC 60320 C7 (figure-8)
• Cable length: 3 m
• Rated voltage: 250 V
• Rated current: 2.5 A
• Number of poles: 2
• Application: mains lead for low-power consumer electronics

How to use

Insert the CEE 7/16 plug into a compatible European mains outlet and connect the IEC 60320 C7 coupler to the device's figure-8 inlet. Ensure the device is switched off before connecting or disconnecting the cable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching, or contact with heat sources. Do not modify the cable or connectors; use the lead only with devices whose input ratings do not exceed the specified voltage and current.

Recommendations

Inspect the cable regularly for signs of wear or damage. Replace the lead immediately if the insulation is cracked, connectors are loose, or conductors are exposed. For safe operation, avoid continuous loading at the upper current rating and keep the cable away from moisture and direct heat. Use with compatible devices only and follow local electrical safety guidelines.
