BlueOptics InfiniBand kuituoptinen kaapeli 7,5 m LC uros-uros

The BlueOptics InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 7.5m LC Male-Male is a single‑mode patch cable designed for high‑speed InfiniBand data links. With LC male connectors on both ends and a 7.5 meter length, the cable enables point‑to‑point optical connections between transceivers, patch panels and network equipment. The single‑mode G.657.A1 fiber and LSZH outer sheath provide a balance of signal integrity and safety for indoor cabling environments.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers low attenuation and high return loss characteristics appropriate for InfiniBand applications, reducing signal degradation over the 7.5 m run. The LC male‑to‑male configuration provides compact connector density for switches, transceivers and patch panels. The cable is manufactured using branded single‑mode fiber and ceramic ferrules for consistent optical performance and a rated high mating cycle life. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, making it suitable for conditioned indoor installations.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for contamination before installation and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable following recommended bend radii for single‑mode G.657.A1 fibre to avoid macrobends that increase loss. Insert LC connectors into matching LC sockets on transceivers or patch panels until they click into place. Secure and label each end if required for identification and future maintenance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain proper cable management to prevent tight bends and mechanical stress, keep connector endfaces clean, and verify link loss with an appropriate optical test instrument after installation.
