Lanview LVO231812 InfiniBand/kuitu-kaapeli 3 m 2x LC violetti

The Lanview LVO231812 is a 3 m OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cord with LC duplex connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed and legacy networks, this 50/125 µm cable supports 10G, 40G and 100G Ethernet transceivers including 10G SR, 40G BIDI SR, QSFP+ and SFP+ modules. The cable uses LSZH jacket material and meets common industry standards for multimode fibre patch cords.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre patch cord provides improved bandwidth and extended reach for multimode networks compared with lower-grade multimode cables. Its 2x LC duplex termination enables full-duplex links and compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and network equipment. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in the event of fire, and the standardized 50/125 µm core size ensures interoperability with OM4-compliant systems.

Suitable for

• 10G Ethernet links using 10G SR transceivers
• 40G and 100G applications with QSFP+ and other multimode transceivers
• Server cabinets, data centre patch panels and rack-to-rack connections
• Short- and medium-range multimode fibre links requiring OM4 performance

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before installation. Plug each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on transceivers, patch panels or switches, ensuring proper orientation of the duplex clip. Route the cable following standard cable management practices and avoid sharp bends below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. For best performance, keep connectors capped when not in use and clean end faces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools.

Recommendations

For reliable 10G/40G/100G operation, use OM4 patch cords with matching OM4 transceivers and maintain clean connector end faces. Consider labeling purple OM4 cables in dense installations to simplify identification and follow data centre cable management guidelines to prevent excess stress on the fibre.
