Patch-paneeli 1U ShiverPeaks BS75074

The ShiverPeaks BS75074 is a 1U patch panel engineered for organized network cabling in racks and enclosures. This metal panel accepts RJ-45 connectors and is compatible with Cat6 cable types, offering a compact footprint with dimensions of 482 mm width, 45 mm height and 130 mm depth. Its grey finish and standard 1U size make it suitable for installation in server rooms, network cabinets and office racks where reliable cable management and stable connections are required.

Advantages

This 1U patch panel provides a robust metal construction that contributes to mechanical durability and long service life. Support for RJ-45 and Cat6 cabling ensures compatibility with common Ethernet installations and allows for high-speed data transmission within the limits of Cat6 performance. The panel's standard width and shallow depth allow easy mounting in standard 19-inch racks while occupying minimal vertical space, facilitating denser rack layouts and efficient use of cabinet space.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in small and medium data centers
• Patch management in office network racks
• Telecommunications and network closets
• Upgrading existing Cat5e installations to Cat6-compatible patching

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack mount
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Cable category compatibility: Cat6
• Material: metal chassis
• Finish color: grey
• Dimensions (W×H×D): 482 × 45 × 130 mm

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts. Terminate Cat6 cables onto RJ-45 jacks following T568A or T568B wiring standards, ensuring proper pair alignment and cable shielding where applicable. After termination, label ports as needed for easy identification and route cables using cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and reduce strain on connections. Verify each connection with a cable tester to confirm continuity and performance.

Recommendations

Place the panel in a rack position that minimizes cable crossover and allows access for maintenance. Use cable ties or horizontal managers to keep patch cords organized and avoid exceeding recommended bend radii for Cat6 cabling. When installing in environments with electrical interference, consider using shielded cabling and proper grounding practices to maintain signal integrity.
