Pistosaha Metabo STAB 18 LTX 150 BL

The Metabo STAB 18 LTX 150 BL is a battery-powered jigsaw designed for demanding cutting tasks. It combines a powerful brushless motor with a compact, lightweight body and a barrel grip handle to deliver high cutting performance, precise control and portability. The saw accepts standard T-shank blades with the Metabo "Quick" tool-free blade change and offers a cutting depth suitable for wood, as well as bevel cuts up to 45° in either direction.

Advantages

The brushless motor provides high efficiency and sustained cutting power with a maximum idle stroke rate of 3,500 spm. Tool-free Metabo "Quick" blade changes with automatic ejection speed up workflow, while the low-lying blade guide, chip-blow function and integrated LED ensure clear visibility and accurate cuts. Restart protection prevents accidental start-up after battery changes, and a robust die-cast aluminium gear housing contributes to long service life. The tool is compatible with 18 V CAS-system batteries and can be stored or transported in the included metaBOX.

Suitable for

• Interior carpentry and trim work
• Curves and profile cutting in wood and wood-based panels
• Bevel cuts up to ±45° for fitting and joinery
• Work sites requiring cordless mobility and compatibility with 18 V CAS batteries

How to use

Fit an appropriate T-shank jigsaw blade using the Metabo "Quick" system and check that the battery is fully charged and correctly seated. Select the stroke rate suitable for the material and engage the chip-blow function or LED light as needed for visibility. For bevel cuts, adjust the sole plate to the required angle within the -45° to +45° range and secure it. Keep a firm grip on the barrel handle, guide the saw steadily along the cutting line, and allow the brushless motor to work at its own pace without forcing the tool.

Recommendations

For best results use sharp, material-appropriate blades and the chip-break guard to minimise splintering. Connect an all-purpose vacuum cleaner to the extraction port to reduce dust on-site. Observe safety instructions, wear eye and hearing protection, and use CAS-compatible 18 V LiHD batteries for optimal runtime and performance.
