Pistosaha Metabo STEB 65 Quick

The Metabo STEB 65 Quick top-handle jigsaw is a compact electric saw designed for precise straight and curved cuts. It is driven by a 450 W motor, weighs approximately 1.9 kg and provides a maximum bevel capacity of 45°. The jigsaw cuts wood up to 65 mm deep and non-alloyed steel up to 18 mm deep, with a stroke length of 18 mm and a no-load stroke rate up to 3,000 spm. The tool includes Metabo Quick for tool-free blade changes, a non-slip soft-grip top handle for secure handling, and a dust blower plus the option to connect an all-purpose vacuum cleaner for extraction.

Advantages

The tool-free Metabo Quick blade change simplifies blade replacement and reduces downtime. Vario (V)-Electronics allows adjusting the stroke rate to match different materials for controlled cutting. A soft-grip top handle enhances grip and manoeuvrability while the dust blower and extraction connection help maintain a clear cutting line. The combination of a compact, lightweight design and a 450 W motor balances portability with cutting performance.

Suitable for

• Straight and curved cuts in wood and panel materials
• Cutting non-alloyed steel and thin metal sheets
• Work requiring frequent blade changes or one-handed handling
• Projects where dust extraction or a clear cutting line is important

Key specifications

• Power: 450 W
• Weight: approx. 1.9 kg
• Maximum cutting depth in wood: 65 mm
• Maximum cutting depth in non-alloyed steel: 18 mm
• Stroke length: 18 mm
• No-load stroke rate: up to 3,000 spm
• Bevel capacity: up to 45°
• Handle type: top handle with non-slip soft-grip surface
• Blade change: tool-free Metabo Quick system
• Dust control: dust blower function and vacuum cleaner extraction option

How to use

Select an appropriate blade for the material, secure it using the Metabo Quick system, set the Vario (V)-Electronics stroke rate according to the material, and adjust the bevel angle if required. Hold the jigsaw by the soft-grip top handle, align the shoe with the cutting line and start the tool, allowing the blade to reach full speed before advancing steadily along the cut. Use the dust blower or connect a compatible all-purpose vacuum cleaner to keep the cutting line visible and reduce dust.

Recommendations

For best results, use blades matched to the material and thickness, wear appropriate eye and hearing protection, and allow the motor to cool during extended heavy use. When cutting metals, use coolant where applicable and reduce feed pressure to avoid overheating the blade.
