ACT 0,5 metrin LSZH yksimuotokuitu 9/125 OS2 -kuituverkkokaapeli duplex LC-liittimillä

The ACT Fiber Patch Cable LSZH 0.5m Duplex with LC connectors is a singlemode 9/125 OS2 fiber assembly designed for short interconnects in indoor network environments. With a 0.5 meter length and duplex LC terminations, the cable supports full duplex optical links between devices such as transceivers, switches and patch panels. The outer jacket is made from LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) material to reduce toxic emissions and dense smoke in the event of a fire, making it suitable for use in confined indoor spaces and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

This LSZH singlemode fiber cable delivers predictable optical performance with a 9 µm core optimized for long wavelength transmission. Duplex LC connectors provide compact, standardized terminations that are widely compatible with modern networking equipment. The short 0.5 m length minimises excess slack in high-density racks and helps maintain tidy cable management. The LSZH jacket offers improved safety for indoor use compared with standard PVC jackets.

Suitable for

• Short patching between transceivers and switches in data center racks
• Connecting patch panels to optical network devices in telecommunications rooms
• High-density optical deployments where compact LC duplex connections are required

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Singlemode
• Core/cladding diameter: 9/125 µm
• ITU-T classification: OS2
• Connector type: Duplex LC to Duplex LC
• Cable jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Mode: Singlemode, full duplex

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or debris before connecting. Align the duplex LC connectors with the device ports and insert until a positive click confirms secure seating. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance. For disconnection, depress the LC latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid stressing the fiber.

Recommendations

Use this short LSZH duplex LC patch cable in indoor structured cabling where low-smoke materials are required and where space constraints call for compact LC terminations. For best performance, keep connectors clean with appropriate fiber cleaning tools and avoid repeated tight bends or mechanical strain.
