ACT 15 metrin LSZH monimuoto 50/125 OM2 kuitu-verkkokaapeli duplex SC- ja ST-liittimillä

The ACT Fiber Patch Cable Duplex SC ST 15m RL2515 is a 15 metre multimode 50/125 OM2 fiber patch cable with SC connector on one end and ST connector on the other, designed for duplex full‑bandwidth communication. Constructed with an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket, this indoor-rated cable reduces toxic and corrosive gas emission in the event of fire while maintaining consistent optical performance with low insertion loss and return loss appropriate for LAN, campus and data centre patching.

Advantages

This duplex fiber patch cable provides reliable multimode transmission over short to medium distances with low attenuation and controlled modal dispersion typical of OM2 fiber. The mixed SC–ST connector pair offers compatibility with equipment that uses either connector style without additional adapter requirements. The LSZH outer jacket enhances safety in enclosed spaces by minimizing smoke and halogen emissions. The cable’s 15 m length gives flexibility for structured cabling runs, patch panels and cross‑connects while keeping signal integrity for typical enterprise networking applications.

Suitable for

• LAN and building backbone connections where multimode OM2 performance is adequate
• Patch panel to active equipment links in wiring closets and data racks
• Campus network cross‑connects and equipment room installations
• Indoor environments requiring low‑smoke, zero‑halogen cabling

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode 50/125 µm (OM2)
• Length: 15 metres
• Connector A: SC (duplex)
• Connector B: ST (duplex)
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Transmission: Duplex full‑bandwidth multimode

How to use

Route the cable through existing cable management or conduit to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Connect the SC connector to the corresponding SC port and the ST connector to the ST port, ensuring connectors are clean and dust‑free before mating to minimise insertion loss. Use appropriate strain relief at patch panels and equipment ports. For best performance, confirm connector orientation and duplex polarity so transmit and receive fibers are aligned correctly between devices.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean fiber endfaces with suitable fiber cleaning tools prior to installation, avoid kinking or excessive bending, and keep the cable within recommended environmental conditions for indoor LSZH cabling to preserve optical performance and safety properties.
